Method for making carrot and turmeric cream with crispy bacon. Finely chop the onion and brown it in a pan with a drizzle of oil.
Peel the carrots and potatoes and cut them into chunks. Add them to the sautéed onion to flavor them, adding a teaspoon of turmeric and a pinch of salt.
Cover with broth, close the pot with a lid, and continue cooking for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding a little broth if necessary. When the vegetables are soft, blend with an immersion blender.
Fry the bacon slices in a pan until crispy. Divide the cream into small bowls, season with a little pepper and a drizzle of oil, and finish with the crispy bacon.
