Focaccia with figs and cooked ham

Ingredients:

  • 700 g Manitoba flour
  • 500 ml lukewarm water
  • 1 sachet of granulated yeast
  • Dried Figs
  • 1 pack ofPURO cured meat
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Olive oil to taste

Preparation:

Place the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a stand mixer and turn it on.

Add water until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Then add the salt. Knead for about 10 minutes. Leave to rise in a dry place at room temperature for a few hours until doubled in size. Divide the dough into two balls and roll them out. Place one rolled-out piece on a baking tray and arrange the slices of cooked ham on top. then cover with the other piece and arrange the sliced figs on top. Brush with olive oil and bake at 180°C. Cook for about 20 minutes and let rest, then cut into pieces and serve, or bake whole without filling and add the cooked ham separately, like a "sandwich." Bon appetit, Willy.
