Pizza muffin

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of flour
  • 130 g of water
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 packet of instant yeast for savory recipes
  • A pinch of salt
  • 200 g mozzarella
  • 100 g of Beretta Italian salame
  • Tomato sauce, to taste
  • Basil to taste

Preparation:

Cut cubetti the mozzarella and salame into cubetti . Put the flour, instant yeast for savory dishes, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

Add the water gradually and the oil and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Divide the dough into 6 balls, roll each ball into a disc and add about a teaspoon of tomato sauce, 3-4 cubetti mozzarella and a handful of salame cubetti to the center.

Fold the discs to form small parcels and place them in the muffin tins, which have been greased with oil, with the closure facing upwards. Place a spoonful of tomato sauce and a few cubes of mozzarella and salame on each parcel.

Bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C on the middle shelf for about 25 minutes, until the mozzarella is lightly browned on the surface. Add fresh basil and serve.
